Cherrypik (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Cherrypik mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Account information Information you provide to create and manage your account, such as your email address, authentication identifiers, and subscription status.

Usage information Information about how you use the app, such as products you track, merchant preferences, alert settings, and in-app interactions.

Device & technical information Information about your device and app usage, such as device type, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens.

Payment information is handled by Apple App Store. We do not store credit card details.

Location Information (Optional) If you grant permission, we may collect approximate location information (e.g. city or region) to provide location-based features, such as relevant merchant availability or region-specific pricing. You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide price tracking, watchlists, and notifications.
  • Operate and maintain the Service, including authentication and subscription access.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Communicate important updates (e.g., service changes, legal updates).
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse/fraud.

3. Retailer Information Disclaimer

Cherrypik displays pricing and product information that is publicly available from third-party retailers. This information may be collected from a variety of sources, including information made publicly accessible by retailers or provided by third parties. Prices and availability may be inaccurate, delayed, or change at any time.

Cherrypik is an independent service and is not responsible for retailer pricing decisions, product availability, or your purchases. Please verify details with the retailer before purchasing.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (hosting, analytics, push notifications) only as needed to operate the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No system is 100% secure.

7. Your Choices

  • You can delete your account at any time directly within the app via the Profile / Settings screen. Account deletion is permanent and may result in the irreversible removal of your personal information and usage data, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, billing records).
  • You can disable notifications in device settings.
  • You can manage subscriptions via the App Store.

8. Children

The Service is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or website.
